GS1 barcode decode Function module issue

We are facing an issue with LE_EAN128_DECODE standard Function module .

standard gs1 barcode uses modulo 13 calculation method to decode check digit where as standard sap uses modulo 10 .

standard function module LE_EAN128_DECODE uses modulo 10 method to calculate check digit .

Is there a way to decode gs1 barccode in standard sap .

Is there a standard function module in sap which uses modulo 13 method to decode gs1 barcodes in sap.

Is there something we need to do in the SPRO configuration settings to enable this.

User authentication via LDAP using SAPGui

Hi All,

 

we get user requirement for User Authentication to SAP ECC (ABAP) Stack, we tried setting User Synchronization with LDAP tcode until we can create user automatically from LDAP server

 

the problem are :

  1. we are confuse, how to mapping attribute between SAP and LDAP about "password"
  2. status of password is deactivate at SU01
  3. can we logon to SAP with LDAP password automatically by runtime?

 

as far we read many article, LDAP is very limited function, this tcode only to User Synchronization without Password.

error creating a web service client from th WSDL document (soamanager)

Hello everyone,




we have generate with the wizard a web-service using the function module BAPI_CONTROL_RECIPE_GET_LIST. Then we have generated with SOAMANAGER the end point. As test, we have used a web-service explorer of Eclispe and we can retrieve without problems the data.



Then we wanted to generate the web-servcie client with Eclipse Galileo (3.5.0) wiith the server GlassFish v2.1 Java EE 5 we first installed the WSIT jars, in order to support WS-RM protocol
We have started the generation based on the document obtainend within the soamanager under the "Open WSDL document for selected binding" link.



We have tried it several times and we always got the following error is:

I forgot to mention the following threads, which seems to me to be somehow in this direction. But I do not get really how I could use them, or how is is releated.

Reporting parameter with limited reporting parameter only one TOTAL value in end report (KE30)

I want to get e.g. 3 customers values per CUSTOMER to the end report (Tcode "KE30"). This is not possible, as the value in the end report for those three chosen customer is one TOTAL value.

 

If Im not chosing any customer in the report parameters (leave empty), this works, so all the customers are showing separatelly the total values.

 

What to do, can not view separate end report values for Limited customer.

 

E.g. in Tcode "MKTA" this separation works fine.

BCS journal entries were not reflected in total list of records

Hi Experts,

 

We are facing one issue, there are some entries posted via manual posting in BCS, which is not getting reflected in list of total

records (LOTR), but available in LOJE (List of Journal entry), which is not getting reflected in the query.

Kindly help.

Dear folks,

 

I have a strange problem, within in one Solution Manager (Basis Release 7.02) all CCMS trees are missing. When is use Tcode rz20 i do get an error-window stating: "no monitor sets exist".

 

And the whole CCMS is empty.

 

Has anybody ever seen this? Where can I "reactivte" the standard CCMS-trees?

GS1-128 Barcodes

It looks like someone else posted this same question, but did not get a response. 

 

Does SAP support GS1-128 barcodes using the AI (application identifiers)? 

 

We have a requirement from a customer to begin sending shipping documents with a single barcode. The barcode will include several different fields.  Each field will be preceded by its application identifier.

 

What I am asking is can SAP construct this barcode for us?  Or do we have to create the string ourselves?
